Bravecto’s active ingredient is fluralaner which is used to treat and prevent the infestation of fleas and ticks as an ectoparasiticide. Bravecto is a pork flavored chewable that is given once every 12 weeks* to prevent and treat fleas and ticks. Bravecto is the only isoxazoline class prevention that lasts for 12 weeks*.
*BRAVECTO kills fleas and prevents flea infestation. Bravecto Chew and Bravecto Topical for Dogs kills ticks (black-legged tick, American dog tick, and brown dog tick) for 12 weeks and also kills lone star ticks for 8 weeks. Bravecto Topical for Cats kills ticks (black-legged tick) for 12 weeks and American dog ticks for 8 weeks.

Advantage Multi is a combination of two active ingredients, moxidecin and imidacloprid, which together combat heartworm, flea, and intestinal parasite infection.
Advantage Multi is a topical product that is applied once a month to prevent heartworms, fleas, and intestinal parasites.
